KSTAR Presents Comprehensive Energy Solutions at 11th Solar Africa 2026

Exhibition News, 2026.7.31

KSTAR participated in 11th Solar Africa 2026, one of East Africa's leading renewable energy exhibitions, showcasing a comprehensive portfolio of residential, C&I, and solar solutions designed to address the region's evolving energy needs.

Residential Solutions for Greater Energy Independence
For residential applications, the Home series residential ESS offers an all-in-one design featuring premium lithium battery cells and quick-connect terminals, enabling faster installation and convenient everyday use.
KSTAR also introduced the new Knight series battery pack, which delivers 16 kWh of LFP storage capacity with high round-trip efficiency, smart temperature control and support for up to 10 parallel units, providing a flexible solution as household energy demand continues to grow.
Working alongside the battery system, the Knight series hybrid inverter supports multiple battery chemistries, integrates smoothly with diesel generators and allows up to six units in parallel, making it suitable for backup power, off-grid and hybrid energy applications that are commonly found across the region.
The BlueSpark series all-in-one hybrid system combines plug-and-play installation, wireless connectivity and flexible scalability to simplify system deployment and future expansion. With a DC/AC ratio of up to 200%, integrated VPP functionality and seamless on/off-grid switching in less than 20 ms, the system enables households to maximize solar utilization while maintaining a stable power supply during grid interruptions.
In addition, KSTAR also displayed the Home series lithium battery pack, BlueGlow series, BluE-G series, and BluE series, further enriching its residential energy portfolio.

Scalable Solutions for Commercial & Industrial Applications
For C&I applications, KSTAR introduced the new BlueCore Series indoor storage battery, featuring a modular architecture that supports flexible expansion from 60.27 kWh to 261.17 kWh. With a 90% depth of discharge and stable power output, the system enables businesses to expand energy storage capacity in line with operational growth while improving overall energy efficiency.
Also showcased was the BluePulse series, available in 70 kWh, 89 kWh and 107 kWh capacities and compatible with the KAC Series 20–50 kW hybrid inverter. Equipped with Tier 1 battery cells and multiple fire protection mechanisms, the system delivers a high level of safety for commercial applications. KSTAR's self-developed BMS and EMS provide intelligent energy management and greater operational flexibility, while integrated STS enables approximately 10 ms-level on/off-grid switching for uninterrupted power supply. The solution also supports scalable deployment with up to 10 units in parallel for off-grid and 20 units for on-grid applications, meeting a wide range of project requirements.
Completing the lineup, the BlueKernel series 125 kW three-phase on-grid inverter offers up to 98.7% conversion efficiency, supports high-power PV modules with a DC/AC ratio of up to 1.5, and features IP66 protection together with integrated Type II DC/AC SPD, ensuring reliable operation in demanding outdoor environments.

Throughout the three-day exhibition, KSTAR welcomed distributors, installers, EPC partners and industry professionals from across East Africa to exchange insights on regional market trends and explore future collaboration opportunities.
As renewable energy adoption continues to accelerate across the region, KSTAR remains committed to delivering reliable, intelligent and locally adaptable energy solutions, supporting customers and partners in building a more resilient and sustainable energy future.
