KSTAR News, 2021.7.15
Chinese VRLA battery maker Shenzhen Kstar Science & Technology Co., Ltd. was the largest domestic supplier of UPS batteries in 2020, according to ICT Research, China's largest market research firm.

According to the report, KSTAR held an overall market share of 13.8%, with UPS battery shipments reaching RMB 211 million during the 12-month period, despite the changing business landscape caused by the pandemic. The largest contributions to market growth came from the finance, telecommunications, government, education, and transportation industries.
China's new infrastructure development plan is driving demand for UPS systems. As a key component of an uninterruptible power supply, the growing adoption of UPS systems is also increasing demand for UPS batteries. In 2020, the overall Chinese UPS battery market reached RMB 1.5 billion, with a growth rate of -1.8%.
