BluePulse Series Passes AIT Testing - A New Benchmark for Commercial Energy Storage

KSTAR is proud to announce that its BluePulse Series has successfully passed the comprehensive testing conducted at the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT). This certification confirms the system’s reliability and performance in accordance with European safety and quality standards—an important milestone in KSTAR’s mission to deliver technically advanced and fully certified energy storage solutions for the commercial and industrial (C&I) market.

The AIT is one of Europe’s leading independent testing institutions for energy technologies. Its procedures include evaluating electrical safety, grid compliance, communication protocols, and thermal behavior under dynamic conditions. The BluePulse Series successfully met all critical performance and safety criteria, demonstrating its robustness and compatibility with European energy infrastructures.

The BluePulse solution is designed for flexible use in demanding C&I environments. It consists of the KAC50DPhybrid inverter and the BC100DEmodular battery cabinet. The KAC50DP is a 3-phase inverter delivering 50 kW of power, with a maximum efficiency above 97.6%, and supports both grid and backup output ports for seamless energy transitions. The BC100DE uses long-lasting and stable LFP lithium-ion batteries and offers a scalable capacity of up to 102.4 kWh per cabinet. With IP55-rated protection and integrated thermal management, the system is built for reliable outdoor installation in a variety of environmental conditions.
